National Association of Pretrial Services Agencies – 2020 Virtual NAPSA Conference

  • This event has passed.

Location: Virtual Training
Information: The conference will offer everything you expect from a NAPSA Conference: excellent keynote speakers, workshops that feature the finest education and training for pretrial practitioners and stakeholders, an exhibit hall and exposition, and networking opportunities for you to meet and learn from others working in the field.
Each day will begin with a Plenary Session on subjects such as racial equality and inclusion, jurisdictional response to COVID-19, and NAPSA’s Standards for Pretrial Release, 2020 Revision. Each day will also feature two blocks of four concurrent workshops. We will host numerous workshops relating to racial justice, the response to the pandemic, the use of validated risk assessments, and the NAPSA Release Standards, to name a few. We will also host workshops designed to educate practitioners new to the Pretrial field and workshops for those working in the federal pretrial system. Our tentative schedule of events will provide detailed information about our conference program.
While our conference is being live-streamed, it will also be recorded. So, you don’t have to worry about missing an educational opportunity should you have to step away. All registered participants will have access the recorded version of the conference for a limited time. For the first time ever, a conference participant will be able to access every plenary session and every workshop on demand.
