“So the Tail Does Wag the Dog?
Increasing Public Safety through Effective Reentry Strategies”
Instituting effective collaborative and evidence-based reentry practices in the criminal justice system is smart public safety. We will explore: when does reentry begin? Who should we collaborate with? How do we eliminate silo’s? Are they really coming back? What policies and practices can I put in place to protect my community with returning offenders? How do I fund all this and does the tail really wag the dog???
