Cost: All IDOC Community Corrections Division sponsored trainings are free to grant-funded Community Corrections confirmed registered attendees. Any travel expenses (i.e. food, lodging, vehicle use) are the responsibility of the attendees’ entity.
Details: “This two-day training offers an overview of the Supervisor’s EBP BriefCASE, which includes 18 modules focusing on evidence-based practices that supervisors deliver to staff over the course of 18 months. It also provides participants with opportunities to practice facilitating the modules, to engage in action planning discussions about how to create and sustain an environment in which to deliver the BriefCASE. The Supervisor’s EBP BriefCASE provides participants with the structure to establish a collaborative coaching relationship with staff and the knowledge and tools to teach and reinforce core correctional practices skills.”
